Biokido is one of the top companies selected to participate in the bilateral Newton Fund programme ‘Business Exchanges for Development in Turkey’ (T-DEB).
The aim of the Newton Fund is to develop science and innovation partnerships that promote the economic development and welfare of collaborating countries such as Turkey.
The programme has three thematic strands: Health & Life Sciences, Environmental Technologies, and Digital Economy & Smart Cities.
Biokido is one of the top 15 selected companies in the Health & Life Sciences working on intelligent health.
Biokido ranked third with DORA Motion among 482 innovative projects.
The TechAnkara Project Market, which has been organized since 2011 under the coordination of Ankara Development Agency in cooperation with Technology Development Zones, organized industrial zones, universities, R & D institutions, incubators and entrepreneurship ecosystem stakeholders, took place on Monday, November 12, 2018. Congresium International Convention and Exhibition Center, Ankara.
Biokido has moved to its new location in Teknopark facilities of Gazi University located in Gölbaşı, Ankara where it has its own administration and software development office equipped with a R&D and Production room and a dust free Assembling room.
Gazi Technopark started its activities in 2007 in a technopark complex with a covered area of 20.000 m2 with a view of Mogan Lake in Gölbaşı settlement of Gazi University.
Organizations and researchers involved in Gazi Technopark can access many qualified infrastructures, services and facilities from one center as well as tax incentives.
Incubation supports provided (with appropriate conditional office, firm foundation support, financial and legal matters counseling, support for access to funding sources) and pre-incubation support (Business Idea / Project Competitions and financial awards, internships / part time work / workplace training opportunities etc.) entrepreneurs are offered significant opportunities.

On thje dates of August 20 – 25, 2017 Biokido has participated in XVI. World Congress of Neurosurgery and launched succesfully the first version of its commercial product named "DORA Motion", Digital Operating Theater Imaging Assistant.
Biokido is invited to 2nd Turkish Medicine World Congress in Istanbul. Two of company shareholders Ozgur Reyhanoglu and Alper Gorur made a presentation on "CT guided Robotic Biopsy Device" that is developed in Biokido. The project was awarded by the Ministry of Health during the congress.
Biokido won Jury’s special award in Health Technologies with its CT Guided Robotic Biopsy Device Project in the BIGG Hamle contest organized by the Technology Transfer Office of Hacettepe University.
